An early-stage Nevada exploration company advances toward drilling with multiple newly identified gold targets.
Lodestar Metals is focused on the Gold Run project in Nevada, an early-stage gold exploration asset supported by a historical non-compliant resource and a substantial amount of prior drilling. Historical work on the property includes approximately 18,000 meters of drilling across 131 drill holes, providing a technical foundation for the company’s current exploration strategy.
Over the past year, the company has undertaken several programs aimed at refining and prioritizing exploration targets. This work included digitizing historical data and conducting soil sampling programs across the property. As a result, Lodestar has identified 15 exploration targets distributed across four separate areas of the project.
Nevada remains one of the most active and established mining jurisdictions globally, known for large-scale gold production and extensive geological potential. Despite its history, exploration opportunities continue to emerge as companies apply updated geological models and modern exploration techniques to previously explored ground.
The company is now entering an active drilling phase, with initial drill holes targeting the newly defined areas. Assay results are expected in the near to medium term and may provide further insight into the project’s potential.
With a focus on systematic exploration and target generation, Lodestar Metals is positioning to evaluate whether Gold Run can support a larger gold discovery within Nevada’s prolific mining landscape.
