DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) -- Fort Technology (NASDAQ:FRTT) is making another move to expand its presence in the U.S. data center infrastructure market and announced that its majority-owned subsidiary, Logia USA, signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Schwab Vollhaber Lubratt (SVL), a Midwest commercial HVAC equipment representative, to bring automated fuel maintenance systems to data centers and other mission-critical facilities across a multistate territory.
The agreement covers North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and specified Illinois counties, including the Chicago metropolitan area. SVL’s established relationships with building owners, engineers, contractors, and institutional customers could provide Logia USA with a channel to reach facilities where reliable standby power is essential. The agreement took effect October 12, 2026, and runs through July 31, 2027, unless terminated earlier under its terms. Financial details and minimum sales commitments were not disclosed.
The opportunity centers on a critical but often overlooked component of data center reliability: diesel fuel. Backup generators are only useful if their fuel remains suitable for use when the electrical grid fails. Logia’s automated systems are designed to monitor and filter stored fuel to maintain quality in accordance with ASTM D975 standards. As data centers expand to support cloud computing and artificial intelligence workloads, dependable backup power and infrastructure resilience are becoming increasingly important operational priorities.
The agreement builds on Fort’s acquisition of a 50.1% interest in Logia USA, completed in August 2026. The transaction included a previously announced credit facility of up to US$2 million to support U.S. market entry and growth. Logia USA also holds an exclusive U.S. license for the underlying fuel maintenance technology developed by Logia Israel.
