DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) -- OFA Group (NASDAQ:OFAL) is trying to turn attention into revenue, and its latest QikBIM update suggests the company may have found a surprisingly effective way to get the architecture, engineering and construction industry to pay attention. In just 90 days, the company's AI-powered Building Information Modeling platform says it generated 281,665 content views, thousands of new followers and its first paying subscribers, while website visitors surged 830% and sessions climbed 565%. Nearly 98% of the audience was new to the platform, a potentially important signal that QikBIM is expanding beyond an existing audience rather than simply recycling engagement among followers.
The numbers become more striking when the launch campaign is examined. During an eight-day paid campaign, QikBIM says it reached 186,637 AEC professionals, generated 224,988 impressions and produced 4,682 website clicks. Its reported 2.08% click-through rate was approximately twice the industry benchmark cited by the company. Even more important for a software business, the funnel reportedly generated 82 AI-assisted product inquiries and the platform's first paying subscribers. That progression, awareness, traffic, inquiries, and subscription revenue is precisely the conversion sequence investors want to see from an emerging SaaS platform.
The underlying pitch is ambitious. QikBIM is designed to automate portions of the BIM-production process, converting design inputs and 2D drawings into coordinated architectural drawings, structural plans, intelligent BIM models and material schedules. OFA says the platform can produce coordinated outputs up to 10 times faster, potentially cutting production time by as much as 80%. The company estimates that eliminating manual modeling, reducing outsourcing and minimizing coordination and rework could produce up to $1 million in savings on a single project. Those savings figures are company estimates, however, and should be viewed as potential economics rather than demonstrated average customer results.
OFA Chairman and CEO Larry Wong called the response “our proof of demand,” pointing to the nearly 187,000 professionals reached during the paid campaign and the first paying subscribers emerging directly from the funnel. The next challenge is turning that attention into recurring revenue at scale. QikBIM is offered with a 30-day free trial and unlimited monthly subscription, and the company says it has accumulated a qualified pipeline of 124 named contacts. If OFA can consistently convert that pipeline into paying users, and retain them, the narrative could shift from a viral-launch story toward a genuine recurring-revenue story.
There is also an intriguing AI-discovery component. OFA says QikBIM generated 161 referrals from ChatGPT-related searches during one reporting period and recorded additional AI-assisted inquiries through its own funnel. That potentially matters because professional software discovery is increasingly occurring through AI-assisted search rather than traditional search engines alone. QikBIM's early international reach, including users from the United States, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, India, Germany and Italy, adds another potential avenue for growth.
