Sitka Gold Corp is advancing its RC Gold Project in Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt, where exploration has already defined over 2 million ounces 5 million ounces of gold and continues to expand. With a fully funded 60,000 metre drill program in 2026 and plans to evaluate a preliminary economic assessment, the company is working to further define the scale of this district-scale gold system.
Sitka Gold Corp is focused on its RC Gold Project in Yukon, a district-scale land package located within the Tombstone Gold Belt, an emerging gold region in northern Canada. Over the past several years, the company has transitioned from early-stage exploration to defining a growing gold resource, supported by continued drilling and new discoveries.
A key area of focus has been the Rhosgobel intrusion, where recent work has outlined approximately 2.25 million ounces of gold at 0.7 g/t at a cut-off grade of 0.3 g/t or 1.5 million ounces of gold at 1.02 g/t at a 0.6 g/t cut-off grade. This discovery has contributed significantly to the project’s overall resource profile and continues to be a central target for expansion.
To build on this momentum, Sitka has launched a 60,000 metre drill program for the 2026 season, one of the largest ever exploration campaigns in the Yukon to date. The company is fully funded for this work, supported by a treasury of approximately $45 million, allowing for sustained drilling and data collection throughout the year. Results from this program are expected to guide future development studies, including a potential preliminary economic assessment in early 2027.
Beyond exploration, Sitka has also announced plans to streamline its portfolio by spinning out its gold and silver assets in Nevada and Arizona into a separate company. This move is intended to sharpen the company’s focus on its Yukon-based projects while monetizing the other assets and adding value to Sitka shareholders maintaining exposure to its other assets.
The company’s leadership has also received industry recognition, with its CEO being awarded Prospector of the Year at the 2025 Yukon Geoscience Forum for decades of contributions to prospecting in the Yukon and putting 2 mines into production in Arizona.
