Underground rehabilitation and drilling preparation mark next phase of development

Why is Pinnacle Silver & Gold rehabilitating historic mine workings?
Pinnacle Silver & Gold is restoring underground infrastructure at its Durango project to enable drilling and evaluation of a past-producing gold and silver mine, with a goal of advancing the property toward production.

Many mining projects begin with exploration.

Others begin with history.

Pinnacle Silver & Gold is focusing on a past-producing mine in Durango, Mexico, where historic operations provide both geological data and existing infrastructure.

The company is a development-stage gold and silver explorer working to fast-track the project toward potential production.

Management is currently targeting a possible restart timeline before 2027, depending on exploration results and development progress.

One of the most important steps toward that goal is the rehabilitation of historic underground workings.

Restoring these tunnels allows the company to safely access the existing mine infrastructure and prepare the property for an underground drilling program.

Drilling will help define the extent of mineralization and identify areas where additional resources may exist.

At the same time, Pinnacle is reviewing the condition of the processing plant located on the property.

Rather than constructing a completely new facility, the company believes the existing plant can be rehabilitated and upgraded at a relatively modest cost.

In parallel with these development efforts, the company has already conducted extensive underground sampling.

Nearly 900 samples have been collected from the historic workings, giving geologists detailed information about the distribution of gold and silver mineralization.

Those results will guide the company’s upcoming exploration drilling.
