London, United Kingdom, November 6th, 2026, FinanceWire
INPUT Global will host the second edition of The (un)Banked conference at Landing Canary Wharf on Monday, November 9, on the eve of Digital Asset Summit London.
Running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the event will put regulators, global banks, and crypto-native firms on one stage to discuss who will build and run London’s financial infrastructure as more of it moves on-chain.
Speakers include Pavel Chichkanov of the Bank of England, Ryan Hayward of Barclays, Phoebe Zhou of HSBC, Robert Crossley of Franklin Templeton, Andranik Mnatsakanyan of Visa, and many others.
London’s Growing Role in the Digital Asset Market
The London edition arrives as the UK moves from writing its digital asset rules to putting them to work.
This year, the FCA published its final cryptoasset rules, and UK banks have started testing them with real money. Lloyds, one of the country's largest lenders, has turned sterling deposits into digital tokens on a public blockchain and used them to buy UK government bonds. Global banks are following, and many are building their digital asset teams in London.
Five Panels, One Question
Senior leaders from banking, fintech and digital assets will speak across five panels, each looking at a different part of the same question:
- $24 Billion and Counting: Inside the Institutional Tokenization Build-Out
- The New Asset Class: How Asset Managers Are Building Digital Asset Strategies
- Beyond the Hype: Are Stablecoins Actually Moving Money?
- Institutional Capital & Digital Assets: ETFs, Venture and What's Next
- The Regulatory Landscape: UK Regulators, MiCA and the Path Ahead
The day will close with an extended networking session.
London Is All Ears
“For years, London watched other cities move first on digital assets. That’s changed,” said Oleg Bevz, Co-Founder of INPUT Global. “The regulation is here, the banks are hiring, and the builders are already in the City. It felt like the obvious place to take The (un)Banked next.”
“The unbanked showed everyone what on-chain finance could do before the banks were ready to listen. Now London is listening," said Declan Hannon, CEO of Aurora Labs. “The next step is making sure nobody has to think about which chain their money is on before they can use an app. That’s what we’re building with Aurora Intents, and it’s the conversation we want to have at The (un)Banked.”
Sponsors and Partners
Aurora Intents, the cross-chain execution layer for on-chain applications, joins the London edition as title sponsor.
N3XT, a full-reserve SPDI chartered by the Wyoming Division of Banking, and Wincent, a crypto market maker and liquidity provider, join as community sponsors.
Introduction.com, a private global network of founders, investors, and operators, returns as a community partner, alongside BCNL Foundation, the largest blockchain and digital asset ecosystem in the Netherlands, OffChain Global, a Web3 community with chapters in around 70 cities, and Genzio, a global media and marketing agency.
AlphaWire, a crypto news and analysis platform, FF News, a global fintech news network, and FinanceWire, a newswire for the finance and fintech industry, join as media partners.
Venue and Registration
The conference takes place at Landing Canary Wharf, a design-led venue at 12 Bank Street, in the heart of London's financial district and a short walk from many of the banks represented on stage.
The event is designed for senior executives, investors and decision-makers working where traditional finance meets on-chain infrastructure.
Registration is open on Luma and subject to host approval.
